This weekend we had a very special visitor...Aunt Emily! She and Arlo haven't seen each other in person since this picture was taken when he was 3 weeks old.
Now, 4 months later, he looks at her with the same adoring eyes!
She got tons of smiles and plenty of giggles!
Yesterday we went for a walk at the disc golf course with the boys and the dogs. Then we had snacks and drinks at Guglhupf. Shame on me, I forgot my beloved new camera. :( After bath and bedtime, Charlie cooked delicious pork chops and asparagus on the grill. Then Casey came over to join us for the UNC-Duke game. (Which was AWESOME!) We played a game of Things and then it was off to bed.
This morning, we gathered around the kitchen for grits bowls and coffee. My all-time favorite breakfast. :)
Then we said goodbye as Emily headed home to Asheville. It was a quick visit, but wonderful as always. We are looking forward to the Spring and Summer and have already discussed some family camping trips with his "cousins," Phoebe and Vann.
We'll miss you Emily! See you soon!
